With Valentine’s day just around the corner, now is the perfect time to start thinking about what you’d like to get your wife. When you think about all the things she does for you, your home, and your kids if you have any, chances are you want to spoil her this valentines day and show her how much she means to you. While I can’t predict exactly what’s at the top of her “want” list, there are a few things that almost every wife would love which make them safe gift ideas. Keep reading to learn about my top 4 thoughtful valentines day gift ideas that your wife is sure to love.
1. A Personalised Necklace
Jewelry is a great gift all of the time, but choosing something personalized takes it to the next level. It shows that you planned the gift in advance and chose something thoughtful that might be special to the two of you such as a nickname you use for her or whatever your kids call her. One of the best things about necklaces is that they’re so durable, meaning that she will be able to use and enjoy it for years to come. So if you’d like a lot of brownie points this valentines day, a personalised necklace is a great way to go!
2. A Day At the Spa
Is there anything better than getting a massage when your entire body aches from juggling all your day to day responsibilities? The answer is no! A spa day is one of those things your wife probably dreams about, but feels too bad spending the money on. If you’re not sure what could be a great spa or package deal to get for her, recruit one of her best friends to help you. This is one of those thoughtful gifts that will help recharge her batteries, lower her stress levels and will be sure to impress her.
3. A Voucher for Her Favorite Store
Sometimes it can be hard to pick out exactly what your wife might like to receive, so a gift card can be a great way around that. However it’s important to get her a gift card from somewhere you know she loves to shop. Places like Target, her favorite clothing store and even Starbucks could be great options! Buy a cute card to put the giftcard in, write some thoughtful words, and then if you have kids why not offer to look after the kids for a few hours so she has some free alone time to use her giftcard?
4. A Date Night With a Twist
One of my favorite gift suggestions is a special date night. But take it to the next level by also giving your wife some money or vouchers to go buy herself a new outfit for the date night. Organize a babysitter if you have kids and treat her really special on the date. Open the car door, flirt with her, tell her how beautiful she looks! This can be a great way to put a little more spark into your marriage.
Wth Valentine’s Day right around the corner, it can be hard to come up with romantic and thoughtful ideas your wife will love but I think these are a great place to start.
